Location: Grenchen, Switzerland Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (100%) Start Date: Immediately or by arrangement Your Mission As Engineer Bike & Parts, you will play a key role in developing innovative bicycle components, assemblies, and accessories that help athletes and riders perform at their best. You will: · Lead the engineering and development of bicycle components and assemblies from concept through production release. · Drive development projects while balancing performance, quality, manufacturability, cost, and timeline objectives. · Develop, validate, and optimize bicycle components, assemblies, and accessories. · Create advanced 3D CAD models and technical documentation using SolidWorks. · Manage projects throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept to industrialization. · Define validation plans, evaluate test results, and translate insights into product improvements. · Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and testing facilities across Europe and Asia. · Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing products, platforms, and engineering processes. Your Profile · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Industrial Design Engineering, or a related discipline. · Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or bicycle engineering. · Advanced SolidWorks expertise, including complex part, assembly, and surface modelling. · Strong knowledge of bicycle systems, engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing technologies. · Experience collaborating with suppliers and manufacturing partners. · Fluent English communication skills; German is considered an advantage. · Willingness to travel internationally when required. What is yours As Senior Product Manager, you will own and drive product strategy across key categories within the BMC bicycle portfolio. David is een fietsindustrieveteraan die eerder werkte in R&D-teams bij Bontrager, Specialized en Santa Cruz Bicycles. Ardy is een productiegoeroe die productietechnologieën ontwikkelde voor grote namen zoals Apple Computer. Samen hadden ze een helder doel: een alternatief componentenbedrijf bouwen, specifiek gericht op aandrijvingsonderdelen. Het hoofdkantoor staat in Santa Cruz, Californië, een echte fietshub, met engineering- en productieactiviteiten in Taichung, Taiwan. Praxis combineert intern ontwerp, testen en productie om componenten te ontwikkelen die draaien om prestaties, kwaliteit en toegevoegde waarde. Bij Praxis draait alles om high-end fietscomponenten: vanaf het begin een van de weinige bedrijven in de branche die cold-forged (2X shifting) tandwielen kon produceren, net als de interne productie van carbon dankzij onze eigen C.R.A.F.T.
